What People's Say About Place

First time at the new location, seated quickly, staff was very friendly respectful and courteous. Hot dogs were pretty good, the buns don't hold up that well. The beef dogs are $2 more but much more flavorful. Coleslaw is good. Chili/ special sauce is very good. Found a long hair in my dog and the waitress took it back and made another one for me. Disappointed in them NOT having a military discount. Hope to be back again and try something else.

The Dog House is Back! And boy did they start to pack in! Not down with dogs? Warm up to some chili, chow down on a salad, rake in a Reuben... Plenty of options for the whole family! I think this new location is great! It is right on the square where salsa Mama used to be and they've done a great job of setting the decor and ambience. We even saw a few people come in simply to look around and check out the new place and everybody was impressed. Lots of seating for various party sizes. I saw they even Had live music the other night. Our table had a Chicago dog, steak and cheese sub, grilled cheese, mozzarella sticks, and even a Hug! The little one was a little fussy today (toddlers ) but loved the big window view and admiring the doggie. Make sure to stop by soon! I need to try the fried PB&J...

I ordered an Italian Bomb with Italian sausage. I also ordered fries with my sandwich. They told me they were out of sausage AND fries. Outside of that I would have rated this place 5 stars. My buffalo hamburger was great, my onion rings were great, the funnel fries were great, and service was great. I will be back.

Service was great! The cute waitress with all her bells on was awesome! They were out of beef dogs and no liquor. So we had a coney dog and a Maryland dog and had white claws. I wouldn’t recommend the Maryland dog. Glad they were open at 11am

I stopped in with my kids for a quick bite to eat this afternoon. I ordered the Coney Special, my son ordered Onion Rings with a salad and my daughter ordered a cheeseburger. The service was excellent, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Our food came out hot and fairly quick. My son loves his onion rings and salad, my daughter ate all of her burger. The fries were crispy and good, the hotdog was cooked correctly and the bun held it all together. I'm really picky about chili dogs and the only knock I have on the sauce is that it was a little bland. I prefer a bit of spice to the sauce. I would definitely go back and give it another try. It's conveniently right down the street from the ballpark!

My kids and I enjoy this place and their food almost 4 if not 5x a month! We love it! When we first touched down in Hagerstown this was the first restaurant we tried out! Wonderful staff, wonderful owners and the overall family that surrounds this place is awesome! We usually get Mac Dog, The Southern Dog and my daughter lately has been getting a burger! Thank you all for the good service and wonderful food!

Really neat place. I've been trying to visit for a year. They moved their location to the public square in Hagerstown. Ordered the Chicago Beef dog and my traveling companion ordered The Hollywood. We split them. Both were good but especially loved the fries. They are coated with something and really tasty. The macaroni salad was not homemade and store bought or Id given them a Five.

Was having a horrible day and wandered in here by chance and it definitely brightened my day. Very chill spot with a free pool table. They had the old school TMNT cartoon playing on the tv which earned alot of cool points from me. Ended up ordering the Mac Dawg, which was a hot dog covered in bacon, and Mac and cheese. I had that dawg in me, which paired wonderfully with a cold beer. Perfect spot to turn around a bad day. 10/10 wish I lived closer, would visit regularly.
